Hello Folks, I have searched the Inet and here and the Apple developer site and cannot find how to change from one runlevel (or whatever they call it now) to another. I know about command+s while booting so no bull answers please. In the old days one could pass an argument to init but alas we have no init these days. I suspect launctl or sysctl could do it but the man pages give no clue. I can of course do this easily in Linux or any other Un*x OS that I have used including HPUX, Sys V, and SCO Unix. Please someone clue me in before I pull out what little hair I have left. Y'all have fun, Robert
